The defeated Doctor Strange and Clea are exiled to a savage world while the Sons of Satannish discover that they've been tricked by Doctor Strange in that the Book of the Vishanti is an illusion. Asmodeus, their leader, sacrifices his followers to gain the power to assume the guise of Dr. Strange which he hopes to use to gain the Book of the Vishanti which is in the hands of the Ancient One. Dr. Strange and Clea find their way back to Earth and Dr. Strange is forced to adopt a new identity as Asmodeus has his. Dr. Strange defeats Asmodeus who with his last breath invokes the spell of Fire and Ice which will bring Ymir the Frost Giant and Surtur the Fire Demon to Earth.
