Magneto attempts to convinces the captive Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch to rejoin the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Meanwhile, Dane Whitman clad as the Black Knight, using his uncle's evil legacy for good, tries to tell the Avengers what has happened to Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. However, the Avengers believe he is the original Black Knight and attack him. After a brief battle, he leads them to Magneto's lair only to find that they have already fled.
