The Vulture escapes from prison and resumes his criminal activities. Spidey takes him on, but the Vulture has learned from their last encounter and defeats him. Later, the Vulture attempts to rob the Daily Bugle, but Spidey intervenes. Spidey comes out on top and Peter ends up getting romantic with J. Jonah Jameson's secretary Betty Brant.
