The Justice League is challenged by the Crime Champions (Chronos, Felix Faust, and Dr. Alchemy). They do their best but are unable to stop them. Meanwhile on Earth-2, the Justice Society come out of retirement to battle the Wizard, the Fiddler and the Icicle. They have similar problems and can't stop them. The villains have learn how to move between Earths and have captured the two Flashes, the only ones able to stop them. The JLA are able to contact the JSA and switch places with them in hopes of having a better chance of freeing themselves from the prison set by villains they've fought many times before.
