A shrinking ray targets the JLA and brings them to the micro-world of Starzl, where its defenders are a trio of invulnerable android warriors who are inadvertently dooming their world. They ask the Justice League to find some way to defeat them. The JLA agree, but they quickly discover that they're unable to stop them. However, they do realize that their powers are psychological and call upon Snapper Carr to finally overwhelm the defenders and save Starzl.
