Before they head off on a South American geological expedition, Barry Allen reveals his secret identity to Wally West (Kid Flash). They investigate the mysterious Valley of the Sleeping Giants and fall victim to a dangerous landslide. Flash and Kid Flash do some of their own investigating and come across a primitive human tribe. They're then attacked by a giant, but they manage to subdue him. They then learn that they've somehow been transported into the past. They rescue the primitive human tribe from a terrible earthquake that threatened to destroy them. Flash and Kid Flash return to camp and use their vibratory speed to move them and the rest of the expedition back through time to the present.
