"The Big Freeze" The Flash testifies against Captain Cold at his parole hearing and Captain Cold's request for parole is rejected. Captain Cold escapes on his own and pledges his love to Iris West who he met at his parole hearing. Iris rejects Captain Cold and he turns his awesome ice power against the city. The Flash battles through his ice shell and defeats Captain Cold.

"King of the Beatniks!" Kid Flash comes to the rescue of one of his school friends who has been mistakenly accused of cheating. Wally catches up with Jimmy King and learns that the Beatnik gang mean to rub him out because he had seen their operation. Kid Flash defeats the Beatnik gang and Jimmy returns to school and helps them win the state championship.
